Deon stumbled back as he peered into the gaze of those horrid gold eyes staring out from the empty abyss. Shadows concealed the figure those eyes belong to, yet he could still see the outline of her smile, a grin that only promised pain and suffering.

Deon inched away from the thick, steel bars preventing the demon within from ripping him to shreds. He felt his back touch the cold, white stone of the wall. What was something like that doing in the mind of a child?

Smooth, pale hands appeared out from the darkness and gripped the bars with a childish glee.

"My, I haven't had visitors in quiet a while." the demon said, her voice like silver chimes, "But unfortunately for you, you have trespassed on very private property. I will have to kill you now." A joyful tone came at the word kill, "And enjoy every minute of it." Her smile twisted into a cruel, insane smirk.

Joyful laughter rang out of the silence as a scream pierced through the air.
